By Airplane - Domestic and International Flights
Graz Airport is connected to many major cities in Europe, some of which are Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Zurich, London, Rotterdam, Hannover. Moreover you can fly regularly from Vienna to Graz and vice versa.
From Graz Airport you can either go by Public Transportation or by Taxi (about EUR 20,00) to the city center and your hotel (see below).

Graz can be reached by train easily from many major cities in Europe. Main lines connect Graz from Salzburg (Munich), Linz and Vienna. The train ride from Vienna to Graz takes about 3 h.

You can drive to Graz by car via the motorway A2 from Vienna (appr. 170 km, 2,5 h), A9 from Linz (appr. 200 km, 3 h), A9/A10 from Salzburg (250 km, 4 h) or A2 from Klagenfurt (150 km, 2 h). Please note that Austrian motorways are toll roads. A “Vignette” has to be purchased at the Austrian border or a petrol station near the border. During your visit of PPS 2015 parking is possible at the underground parking which is directly located at Messe Congress in Graz. The parking fee for one parking space per day is EUR 8,00 .
By Public Transportation
Graz is a town with a well-organised public transportation system. Main transportation is established by city tram (BIM) and busses. The transportation center is Jakomini Platz in downtown Graz. From there, every location can easily be reached by public transportation. A one-hour ticket costs EUR 2,10 and can be purchased on buses and trams (zone 101).
Passengers with valid tickets for zone 101 can use as well city trams and buses with digit or two-digit numbers as "Schloßbergbahn".

Bus: "Verbundlinie" number 630 or 631 (busstop is located directly at Terminal of Graz Airport)

S-Bahn: S-Bahn number S5. S-Bahn station "Flughafen Graz-Feldkirchen" is only a few minutes walk away from Graz Airport. The walkway is well signposted, covered and lit. S-Bahn is an ideal connection between Graz Airport and the City of Graz (Main Railway Station, Don Bosco, Puntigam).

An alternative to public means of transport are taxis which can be taken for ground transportation. A one-way fare from the conference location to train main station is about EUR 15,00, the fare to Graz Airport is about EUR 20,00. Taxis must be called per phone.
